Cost of Attendance

The standard Cost of Attendance includes tuition and fees, plus an allowance for other fees that students may incur throughout the academic year.

Books, supplies, personal expenses and transportation costs are estimates of expenses and are included for the purpose of determining cost of attendance and eligibility for aid. Most students do not actually pay this full cost. Non-resident students are assessed an additional $420 per unit. Financial Aid and Scholarships does not determine Residence Status. More information about California Residency is available at Admissions and Recruitment.

Cost of Attendance (COA) includes:

  • Educational Costs (Tuition Fees, books, supplies)
  • Living Costs (Housing, meals, transportation, personal expenses)
  • Average Loan Fees (for loan borrowers only). Actual loan fees assessed may differ.
